NNPC pension fund ITD will be a would class pension fund committed to effective and efficient mgt of all resources at its disposal for the prompts payment of retuement benefits.

MISSION STATEMENT

NNPC pension fund set up to manage NNPC pension assets for the benefit of all NNPC STAFF.

OBJECTIVES

1. To promote good relationship between NNPC retirees and employees.
2. To promote and provide by contributions (funds) by NNPC (employer) and staff for the provisions of its eligible permanent junior and senior employees; in accordance with the constitution of the fund.
3. To consolidate the fund into the NNPC pension fund which shall be charged as such and out of which shall be paid such sums of money as may from time to time be due to the eligible beneficiaries in accordance with the trust deeds and the constitution of the fund.
4. Directors to invest and or invest and or cause to be invested not more than 5 % of the value of the monies received by (including interest) the directors in or upon any securities authorized by law for the investment of trust monies or the joint tax board regulations stipulate.
5. To invest or cause to be invested such monies as are not in the interim required  for the payment of entitlement under the fund constitution, for the payment of eligible beneficiaries in or upon any objects not being securities or the like of securities as stipulated by the joint tax board regulations.
