The Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Engr. Abubakar Lawal Yar’Adua
has said that servicom would complement the corporation’s quest for customer
satisfaction in its service delivery.
The GMD who was represented by the Group General Manager, CPDD, Dr Attahiru
Yusuf, said this at the formal launching of servicom in NNPC.
Engr. Yar’Adua who ascribed Servicom’s principles to be in line with global
best practices, urged that for it to be successful, it needed to be driven
by a purposeful leadership. He gave assurance that NNPC was committed to the
success of servicom. Engr Yar’Adua pledged the commitment of the NNPC
Management to Motivating Staff by providing the work tools, required
training and conducive environment for optimum performance. He said that all
NNPC staff would be sensitized adequately on sevicom’s expectation.
Delivering a goodwill message at the occasion, the National coordinator,
servicom, Mr. Adobe Obe said that regardless of government’s good intention,
what mattered was the quality of services delivery that Nigerians got. Mr.
Obe who described service as both the object and subject of all reforms
urged that Nigeria should reform the nation so that service delivery would
become real to the people. The servicom coordinator stated that any form of
reform should satisfy the criterion of service delivery.
