The following are the key functions of HR Dept:
ÂGroup Learning Department (GLD)The Group Learning Department (GLD) is one of the three departments of the Group Human Resources Division in the Corporate Services Directorate of NNPC. Vision and MissionA customer focused HR partner delivering best practice services to achieve corporate goals. Our mission is to build a highly motivated and competent workforce by ensuring timely and cost effective development of professional skills and behaviours required to achieve improved business performance. In order to achieve the mandate of the department, six (6) sections were created, namely:- Â Â
 With a vibrant and high level departmental leadership, each section is well resourced with energetic and highly motivated experienced staff. FocusGLD is passionately pursuing the following:- Â
 Current ApproachAll learning activities in GLD are driven by and aligned to the business priorities of the corporation. GLD operates an all inclusive policy of carrying along all stakeholders to enlist their buy-in and support .GLD’s activities are checked and rechecked to ensure cost effective and timely delivery. This demands thorough planning and consultations within the leadership of the department. Currently our delivery method includes the normal formal classroom setting, OJT, projects and cross-functional postings.
