The Engineering & Technology Division of NNPC is made up of the following departments;

• Technical Services Department
• Projects Department
• Environment & Safety Department
• Group materials Management department
• Process Engineering Department

A new department has just been created named Pipelines & Depots Projects

These departments are supported by a Services as well as Budget & Planning Units.

The Division is mainly responsible for executing capital projects for Headquarters and some subsidiaries such as PPMC, refineries and lately NPDC.

ETD has successfully executed the following projects;

• Pipeline  & Depots project
• Bonny Export terminal Project
• Butanisation projects
• NNPC  Office Complex, V/I Lagos
• Mulliner Road Officer Building
• New Atlas Cove Jetty
• Mosimi – Ore Pipeline Rehabilitation project
• Construction of NNPC Mega Stations and Floating Filling Stations

The GGM, ETD is the sponsor of the Capital Expenditure Project Management System (CEPMS) being implemented jointly with Shell Manufacturing Services (SMS) under Project PACE. The CEPMS is a project governance system that will ensure effective project delivery through the application of best industry practices.
