The Corporate Service Directorate comprises the Group Administration and Personnel Division, Group Medical Division, Group Insurance, Pension and London office. The Directorates guiding principle for the 2005-2007 plan is cheaper and better value for money services.
The Group Insurance will continue to provide quality insurance protection and risk management at reasonable and competitive cost by identifying and incorporating new exposures at the beginning of each year.
The Pension Department will comply with the new Federal Government’s Pension law.
Group Medical Services Division shall continue to provide cost effective health care delivery service. It will aggressively continue to create preventive awareness in Sexually Transmitted Diseases and causes of sudden death especially in youths.
The Group Admin and Personnel Division will continue to provide cost effective support services corporate wide through its three main departments, comprising the Personnel, Admin and Human Resource Departments. In its effort to building capacity, it has started the process of Recruiting 500 Graduate trainees/ Technologists and 100 Professionals in 2005.The recruits shall be trained adequately to enable them fit in appropriately in the new ‘Transformed NNPC’.
The major projects of the GAPD within the planning period is:
- Construction of GMDs residence
- Upgrading of NNPC fleet of Aircraft.
