INVITATION TO BID FOR NNPC AIRCRAFT

The Nigerian Petroleum Company (NNPC) is desirous of disposing its Aircraft base at the Aero Contractors Hanger, Warri.
The Aircraft for sale:-

Procedure for Bidding:-

  1. Bidding period is 21 (Twenty One) days with effect from the date of this publication.
  2. Inspection of the Aircraft will run from 21 (Twenty One) days with effect from the day of this publication.
  3. The inspection of Aircraft which is to afford the bidder the opportunity of appraising the general condition of the Aircraft shall be at the expense of the bidders and submission of bid by any bidder shall be deemed a confirmation of the relevant bid.
  4. Bid forms can be obtained from the NNPC zonal offices at Warri, Port Harcourt, Lagos, Kaduna and Abuja.
    The addresses are:-
      i.   NNPC Zonal Office,

          G.R.A Warri.     

     ii.   NNPC Zonal Office,   v. NNPC Towers

  5. This form would be returned upon presentation of a non-refundable receipt fee of $5,000 (five thousand Dollars) only or it Naira equivalent which is payable at the Finance and Account Department of the NNPC Warri, Port Harcourt, Lagos, Kaduna and Abuja.
  6. The bidder’s name, address and other details on the bid from must be clear and unambiguous.
  7. A successful bid will be given four weeks to evacuate the won items which will be consequent upon full payment of the requisite winning amount to NNPC and must be paid within 12 days of notice.
  8. All bid form should be sealed in envelopes clearly marked “sale of NNPC Aircraft” and addressed to:
    The secretary
    Headquarters Tenders Committee,
    Block A, 4th Floor, Room 415,
    NNPC Towers, Abuja.
  9. NNPC makes no representation and gives no warranty whether express or implied and shall not be deemed to assume any responsibilities whatsoever with respect to the completeness, utility, fitness for purpose, performance, use, condition or quality of any of the Aircraft, and such warrant, stipulations, other statement whatsoever concerning any of the Aircraft, whether express or implied, are hereby excluded.
  10. Bidders shall indemnify and hold NNPC harmless from any and against any and all damages, loses, claims, expenses, costs, actions, proceedings (including legal fees) incurred by bidders or arising from or in connection with the inspection, bidding process, purchase, use and operation of the Aircraft.
  11. NNPC reserves the right to disqualify any bid which does not comply with the above instructions.
  12. All bids must be submitted on or before the close of work on Friday, 27th November, 2009.
