Korean Consortium to build power plants in Abuja and Kaduna
A consortium of Korean companies made up KNOC, KEPCO and POSCO is to build power plants in Abuja and Kaduna that will supply 1,350MW and 900MW respectively as well as 1,200km gas pipeline from Ajaokuta to Kano with a spur line that will take gas to Katsina state at the cost of five billion dollars. NNPC and KNOC signed a production sharing contract on OPL’s 321 and 323 linked to strategic downstream investment. NNPC Information Technology Division Holds Forum with IT Consultants
The Information Technology Division (ITD) of NNPC recently organized a one day forum with IT solution providers in Abuja with a view to improving their service delivery to the corporation. Speaking at the forum, which was held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja recently, the Group General Manager, ITD, Mr. Chuks Onuoha said the essence of the meeting was to let the consultants know the direction of the Corporation in respect of Information and Communication Technology needs so that they could offer effective support to NNPC. More details...
