FG Okays Gas Supply Obligation, Pricing Policy
In a bid to boost power supply, revive moribund industries as well as strengthen the economic base of the country, the federal government has approved Domestic Gas Supply Obligation and a new Gas Pricing Policy, the Minister of State for Energy (Gas), mr. Emmanuel Olatunde Odusina said in Kano recently. Speaking at an interactive session with stakeholders on the Nigerian Gas Masterplan, Odusina said all oil and gas operators in the country would henceforth set aside a pre-determined amount of gas for the domestic market.More details..

Solution to Niger Delta Crisis, A Collective Task - GMD
Finding Solution to the Niger Delta Crisis is a collective responsibility which requires all hands to be on desk, the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Engineer Abubakar Lawal Yar'Adua has said. The GMD said this recently while receiving the Central Working Commitee(CWC) of PENGASSAN who paid him a courtesy call in his office at the NNPC Towers Abuja.
